thanks for sharing this and attracting all these comments and reminding me that hacker nerd culture is as conservative and misogynistic as it ever was. it's important to keep the public aware of this so that another generation of curious nerdy young girls don't make the terrible mistake of pursuing their interests as a career and being stuck working in an industry where they will never be respected or promoted or even acknowledged for their work and every workplace will be like a lion's den full of leering perverts and bitter incels and giggling teenage boys.
