How so? Never heard of anyone having any issues with them, and they are recommended by dentists pretty often

I have had two different dentists recommend water flossers in the past. Got one as a gift several years ago and am pretty happy.

I believe that sometimes there are bad outcomes from standard medical advice—humans are messy and the world is complicated—but I would like to know much more about the failing case before making a judgement.
