Wouldn't it be possible to have two tiers of servers here? Like have one that's accessible to everyone with a possibly increased risk of cheating and one restricted to Windows users.

I remember in the old days some games had optional anticheat and there were servers with and without it.

of course that would be possible, but i can't see ubisoft opting into that.

it'd be an additional expense for a very small % of the player base of a 9 year old game.
