Not sure why people still use gtranslate (although it has had some improvements). Most current LLMs are pretty decent across the language pairs I'm familiar with. They translate based on meaning rather than word-for-word. (the One True Way, as far as I'm concerned). The only downside -and it's a big one- is that this form of translation comes out in the tone/style/voice of the translator. In the case of an LLM like claude, that means it's in the voice of claude. This might be a big deal in some circumstances where style is important; while in others being understood might be more important.
