It's true that LLMs have trivialized some aspects of software development. (We're at the "software writes itself following natural language inputs" stage.)

What's nevertheless true is that they've hardly touched hardware hacking. There are so many interesting opportunities right now in robots, drones, materials, batteries, and custom embedded systems that still demand dirty hands and physical intuition. These still reward savvy, and they're fun!
