The world is a whole lot more complicated than the simplistic "CEOs are evil" nonsense. I suggest you talk to an entrepreneur sometime. Or, better yet, do it yourself before judging others so harshly. Or is it too hard for you?

Have you ever lead men in combat when death is real and you are right there as the tip of the spear, with some of the smartest and most high level athletes in the world? A lot of fortune 500 CEOs are nepo or network hires to grease wheels and laws, but even then, it's not necessary merit or performance based. There are some good ones, but there are more bad ones than good. All will write books on "leadership"! A lot of you calling things "leadership" in large companies can be done with fairly basic calculations and you don't even need a high functioning sociopath to take the blame. That doesn't mean you don't have a board judging performance. Also a lot of you are taking things very personal, thinking most of these comments and complaints are talking about some CEO of a 5 or 500 person company, but what many of us are talking about are companies with 50k-100k employees or more (then there's Amazon with over a million).
