		They aren’t legal any more if their visa expires? I’m an immigrant to the US. I knew the risk that at any time the rules could change and I’ll be headed to my home country.

That was an isolated incident triggered by local police. Not an active nationwide policy to deploy immigration officers to all migrant protests
