Can you please review https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html and stick to the rules when posting here? I realize some other comments were being provocative, but responding by breaking the guidelines yourself only makes things worse.

We particularly want to avoid personal attacks and tit-for-tat spats, so if you could please avoid that in the future, it would be good.
