Show HN: I fear my tasks(taskroom.autobirds.com)

Task lists are flat. The way I think about my tasks is more like they sit in space. So I made an experiment. My first ever task tool.

Tasks are cardboard boxes on the floor of a room, with the title written on them in marker.

Click to grab one, drop it on the desk, and its clock starts. Take it off, the clock stops. Time accrues per box forever.

No sign-up needed to try it out

Sign in with Google if you want a room that persists.

Open question I keep going back and forth on: should the desk hold exactly one box? Curious what you'd want.

Actually like the idea but I'm not sure it will help me being more productive. If that helps some people that's nice though

Thanks.

The main thing is to be able to size up the big tasks using [ or ], so they actually take more space. You get used to it.

And also to connect a fear to a task, to realize why you're not doing the thing.

Cool. I'd love to spin and turn using a finger on mobile.

Made it for you!

Thanks for the tip, it's much better now.
