If anyone's curious, 98.4% of US households had television in the mid 90s (most likely the peak). In 1960 it was 90%.

And I would wager that the numbers are still very similar. One doesn't need to pay for cable TV to watch TV these days.

If you're implying ~60% of the pop is pirating cable I don't believe it's anywhere near that high

edit: oh I think you meant streaming-only. Yeah, maybe a lot higher...I don't have a good gauge on that
