Given the temperament of the current POTUS, using that word seems ill-advised.

Who knows. Could just burn down the ballroom this time and would anyone be too mad?

Wouldn't they need to build the ballroom first, before burning it down?

No need - it’s already a toxic garbage fire.

It's a metaphorical toxic garbage fire, but unless I've missed some news the current state is somewhat different from the "actually set fire to it" historical events referenced earlier: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_President%27s_House_b...

“If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Let’s be honest, everyone who tried appeasement is in a much worse position with the man child.

Sun Tzu's advice is good - in 1-vs-1 hot wars with limited stakes.

That is not Canada's current situation, let alone its desired situation.

And diplomacy has many options between appeasement and provocation.

There does seem to be a strain of Trump respecting people for standing up to him.

I guess that's the thing with draft dodging, cowardly sex predators. If the going gets tough, they find an easier victim.

Look how well Iran has done standing up to him, he has literally been fucking owned by Iran and really done nothing of substance in response.

One of the worlds more infamous, low IQ, low T, sleep on the job, corrupt, DEI hires ever, the irony is wonderful ;)
