You need a GPU for the ASR and diarization. I have an unraid box with an old GPU that I threw it on. So it's sitting in my closet and the ongoing cost is practically nil. There was a few dollars in LLM calls on initial ingestion using deepseek flash. Only fractions of a penny to ingest new data as it comes.
