Dont listen salesman talking about engineering. Unless he has credibility proven by things he had done recently. Person might be zillionare but he cant buy credibility.

What's stopping the salesman from lying about that too?

The experts aren't the ones buying. The expert and salesman are getting paid by the same person.

		Nothing is stopping them. Those who are in the domain will recognize lies, those who aren't likely won't. Yes, experts are not the buying ones. The buying ones are the paying ones. Stock holders. And they can lie them as easy as I can lie to a patient how I am curing 10k lines of code every day. Then every expert who isn't influential enough to be on their payrole isn't an expert?
