OpenAI has a very limited amount of time before their value collapses in the face of cheap Chinese models. The price war is just getting started. It won't be pretty.

Can we fastforward to that point so I can buy some GPUs at non-inflated prices? It is insane how fast they are going up. I bought some stuff last week and it is already up $1K compared to then. And I thought it was overpriced when I got it.

		Unfortunately the deflation of OpenAI would not lower your GPU prices. People will still require the hardware to run LLMs, it's just that it will probably be commodity models.
