Hype. Love my OG Framework 12. I never minded the lack of keyboard backlight since I can touch-type, but having programmable keyboard firmware will be a must so I can kill the Airplane Mode key that is interpreted by the EC instead of by the OS. I love Framework's product launch style. So down to earth. "These are the top 5 things people have been asking for. We've update 3 of them". Acknowledging that they haven't done everything people have been asking for but are still working on problem areas somehow comes over as so much more professional than just putting your head in the sand and pretending they're not important. As an owner of an original framework 12 I will probably get the fingerprint reader, I underestimated how much I ended up missing it. Upgrading the CPU for better battery life does not seem worth it to me though. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
