If I were one of the people who had been trapped in my own country by the Berlin Wall, I would be really angry at this comparison. Instead, it just makes me smile wearily.

Is it really feasible though? I'm not up to speed with the state of the art, but in my limited understanding, we are still pretty far away from being able to colonise our solar system. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I don't see it happening any time soon.
