"Experts" like GP poster is why the IPCC studies choose conservative values of how rapid the change will be (they don't want to be dismissed as alarmist), leading to underestimation and:

The problem is that it’s going to happen either way.

The only question is are we facing this prepared or are we having a tantrum refusing to accept it and get hit by it anyway with our pants down? Looks like we’re going for pants down.

Oh yeah I fully made peace with that myself already, it'll happen regardless of what we want. Some countries will be prepared, some won't, either way you can't fight what's coming.

		Well, rules like borders become irrelevant when people need to live. (Plenty of evidence of that). Unless the rules are applied by force. (Also plenty of evidence..)
