California, New York, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Virginia is 5 (five) controlled by Democrats. Puerto Rico is ambiguous, and South Carolina is 1 (one) GOP state. It's 5 to 1 simply, and 14 to 1 in population. South Carolina has a "quick" process for licensing out-of-state physicians.[1] In addition, Rhode Island is Democratic and refuses to implement it.[2] So getting closer to 6 to 1. And yes, the South Carolina Medical Association, a hotbed of rightwing nutjobs, is pushing back against it in SC.[1] Rightwing extremism, plain and simple. You're right, I was wrong.
