		First, you need to want to make A LOT OF MONEY. Secondly, you need to throw anything you know about morals and ethics, and if you have compassion/empathy for others, you need to leave that somewhere too. Once these things are taken care of, there are so many opportunities to make so much money. If you're in the US, look at what the current US politicians and the administration is doing, and basically copy them.

I know a few people like this, continue to be employed in job profiles like this at big companies, keep making big bucks for years and years, all the while working on personal brand so that they can jump to the next company that can shell out the big bucks. It’s not about the actual thing they keep talking about.
