… Are you sure you are talking about the Greens and not CDU or CSU which they occasionality form government coalitions with?

Like all such articles they present a LONG list of politicians with "we're committed to/promising to/... phase out coal". And then a statement or two by the executive that they're increasing coal usage because they have no choice.

The problem is that there is no option left BUT coal.
