I wouldn't take that for granted. I'm fighting—and I'm not alone—to raise awareness about data sovereignty and privacy, which stand in the way of Big Tech and governments' obsession with exploitation and control. People are slowly realizing that centralization, accelerationism, data exploitation, automation, and artificial intelligence are taking many things away from them: jobs, identity, freedom, and privacy. There are those who are already saying no; the most aware are arming themselves and will be the first to act in self-defense, and the critical mass will follow soon after. Am I being naive? I don’t think so—or at least I hope not—because that’s how it’s always been in the history of innovation. | ||||||||
