We're rebuilding our core customer journey — Search → Details → Booking → Post-booking — and consolidating fragmented pricing/inventory logic into a coherent backend domain with clear API contracts. Senior role with Staff-leaning scope: you'll own core domains (pricing, inventory, search), mentor engineers, and partner directly with the Head of Engineering across 5 teams. Company is expanding internationally (Mexico & Caribbean this year, Europe next), in-housing search from Algolia, and launching Spa as a new vertical.

Stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Datadog, Playwright/RSpec. Requirements: 4+ years shipping production web apps, comfortable across Rails backend and React frontend, schema/query design experience, proven end-to-end feature ownership.
