Practical meaning I don’t plan to ever drive more than 600km per day so if it’s 600km from A->B, and then a 8 hour charge, that’s fine by me… if I want 700km I’ll stop and charge for 5 min at 30% SOC or so

But the GP is saying a Tesla won't do 600km on one charge, which does sound reasonable.

I agree with you about just stopping to charge for a few minutes along the way if I need more, though.
