As we see so often, it could be that the cure is worse than the disease. Modern medicine is so burdened by government meddling, that it creates perverse incentives. People are kept in hospital to spend money instead of being fully recovered at home.

Well that's definitely a take. I'm not going to be the first in line to defend government, but more often than not I'm seeing friends and family getting chased out of the hospital BEFORE they should be.
