I am not sure how to square the posts that AI is a bubble with the ones that say AI is so terrible; lately I am somewhat inclined to especially believe the former.

Just look at the dot com bust; the Internet and e-commerce were definitely real, but the over leveraged investments into poor business models driven by fomo had to crash before sanity returned.
