For huge models like these, the only reasonable way to host them is via torrents. I don't understand why hf doesn't offer this as an option. Linux distributions got this right: Offer both HTTP and Torrents. Let the user decide. | ||

I believe they don't do torrents because it gives them a lot more control. Like they can takedown or update downloads and they can prevent someone from trivially bypassing the license agreements you need to accept for some models. | ||
