Disagree - engineers documenting fun and quirky DIY projects is very much in the hacker spirit. Before reading this I didn't even know aquaponics was a thing, much less a thing with a "thriving online community". ...also, maybe I'm reading too much into this, but why not "a programmer and her quant bf"? She's the one who wrote the article on her own blog, and this is primarily a community of programmers. | |||||||||||||||||
