		Here - https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MANEMP for Number of Manufacturing jobs down to 12 million. a Few years ago it was going up before trump came in again. remember tech sector roughly employs 2 million people thereabouts.

They want a poor and desperate workforce that they can more easily exploit.
