The CCP is a peer power to America, and they're matching the same propaganda outlets like Hollywood and social media with their own forms. It's a credibly modern response to tactics used by nations like America and Israel to influence public opinion. Seems like you agree that it's an effective strategy. My point moreover is that this guy is hand-wringing about things that have been normalized under capitalist influence for decades. It's only unfair to him when America's adversaries copy their tactics, because he'd never hold America up to the same measure.
