Cognitive and affective effects of L-Theanine: review of 31 randomized trials

Back in the good old days, when either the world was cleaner and trusty, or I was simply naive and enjoying my organic loong ching (dragonwell), I remember those as the clearest of my years. I'd make a medium thermos in the morning and drink throughout the day, and when working 16 hour shifts, I'd make a second batch.

I think I'm too damaged now to respond to green tea, unless adequately debased with prions and heavy metals, the latter which is the secondary reason I avoid it, with the first being cost.

The theanine is low, but I distinctly remember feeling strong all day without any crash, as well as having no problems with sleep. Of course, truly good green tea comes with a bundle of virtues, and which one I enjoyed so much remains unknown.

I personally have adverse reactions to L-Theanine. Not for everyone!
