CaseLight is building a secure, high performance, offline first Windows desktop application designed for private & legal investigators, corporate SIUs, and local law enforcement agencies across the country.

What We Are Building:

- An offline first platform using React for the interface layer and a highly secure, encrypted local data layer utilizing SQLCipher. - Deeply optimized background multi threading to handle drag and drop forensic file ingestion, real time dual timeline matrices, and cryptographic hashing. - A robust, standalone local document builder and checkbox driven PDF report compiler that runs completely isolated on the host machine hardware. - We have a completed 24 page system blueprint, a verified 20 page investor deck, and a 2 page technical specification ready for immediate onboarding handover.

Who You Are:

- A senior engineer who can confidently own the native Windows backend layer, manage local data streams safely, and protect against memory leaks. - Deeply experienced in C# .NET frameworks (WinUI 3) or secure, native Node addon desktop environments. - Highly proficient with local database architecture, transactional queries, and native Windows OS level integrations.

Our 30% equity pool is completely intact, and engineering compensation will be structured around milestone performance incentives. We are newly incorporated, backed by 24+ years of federal law enforcement and private investigations domain expertise, and actively moving through multiple angel network pipelines.
