If youre subscribing to giant services like netflix or spotify or whatever practically none of the money is going to the talented creative people who actually make the stuff anyway.

I vote with my wallet and never support DRM and shit I deem unethical. I go out of my way to directly support stuff I want to see more of.. supporting artists I like on Patreon, bandcamp, buying directly from them, etc. Also when I support stuff like that I do actually get the files.
