In my case, it was friends in college who were in ROTC. Some of their research/leadership projects at the time started with "try to enhance drone flight software so they can't be shot down by soldiers with shotguns" but after 2 months it was demonstrated that it was pretty trivial to make drones extremely difficult to shoot down. So the project pivoted to "try to train soldiers to be able to shoot down drones" and from what I was told, that was a very difficult goal to achieve. As that was 15 years ago, I simply assumed drones have gotten even better at evasion since then and humans with shotguns haven't evolved much. | ||
