I suspect that without American support, they would have to do quite a bit to change their behavior. They probably can't afford the current level of conflict on their own. It would force them to negotiate with their neighbors.

Iran[1] may also have all the pieces for nukes by then[2], hence Bibi's fraught gamble with the decapitation strikes, and present desperation to continue - even escalate - hostilities.

1. Or the UAE, which has shown interest in nuclear tech, perhaps for strictly peaceful purposes

2. I.e. attain nuclear latency, and finally make real what Netanyahu has been warning the world for decades: that Iran is "weeks away from a nuclear bomb"

When there used to be a community of 100k Jews in Iran? In other words more than 90% driven out after the revolution? Prominent Jewish figures and businessmen - most notably Habib Elghanian - were arrested on fabricated charges of espionage and were executed. Community members were forced to closely monitor their actions and maintain a quiet public presence. Down to 10% in 50 years - and in hiding basically - that's your benchmark for Arab tolerance of Jewish minorities? How are the Christians doing in the Middle East? The Yezidis? The Baha'is? The reason middle eastern Muslims hate the Jews so much is simply that they won't bow down. Won't allow their women to be turned into sex slaves with impunity. And have built themselves a successful western country.
