I had the opposite experience, spent a year with each language, first Java then C#, and to me C# felt like "Java done right". (Which appeared to be the original design goal behind the language!) So I'm curious about your experience. To me it felt a bit less like a religion and more like a language. It didn't force me to do things a particular way, quite as much.
