Résumé/CV: https://lucasfrederico.dev GitHub: https://github.com/lucasfrederico LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/lucassfrederico Email: lucas.frederico@outlook.com.br Senior backend / platform engineer. 10 years on the JVM. For the last 5, sole backend architect of a US-based real-time JVM platform sustaining 1,500 concurrent users on a single shard, with sub-50ms p95 on the hot path and a "recovery under 60s" production SLO held for 5 years of solo on-call. Cross-shard state via Redis pub/sub, idempotent operations with full audit trails, JVM tuning, declarative infra (Ansible + Docker), CI/CD, Grafana SLI/SLO. Before that, 5 years of Spring Boot for Fortune-500 clients in regulated industries (compliance audit, RBAC, integrations). Recent OSS. Productized the patterns. Latest is fanloop (github.com/lucasfrederico/fanloop): a self-hostable real-time fan-out gateway. Spring Boot + Redis pub/sub backplane, deployed end to end on Kubernetes with Helm, Kustomize overlays, an ArgoCD app-of-apps, kube-prometheus-stack and a committed Grafana dashboard. Includes a Terraform module that provisions the AWS platform (VPC, EKS, ElastiCache, ArgoCD bootstrap). CI deploys the stack to a kind cluster and runs a cross-replica smoke test. Plus tickloop (real-time JVM toolkit, Java 21), slow-query-watcher (Spring Boot starter), pg_table_bloat (Postgres extension in Rust / pgrx), pgcraft (Postgres TUI in Go). Looking for Senior or Staff roles in: platform / SRE, distributed backend, real-time systems, Postgres or database infra. Bonus interest in travel and fintech (domain familiarity). Happy to chat. | ||
