Different folks different strokes.

I came across this old video by Professor Winston, MIT on "How To Speak". This rabbit hole has lead me here, as there was a thread here stating how he's dead. But it seemed like people loved him here.

I must say his points are valid and I understand the reasoning as to why he said such things in the 1 hour video but how come these consultants seem to differ with regards to their own slide creation. Is it just different strokes for different folks?
