For those of us who came of age at the start of the web, CNN had a pioneering presence on cnn.com. I still check it pretty regularly due to old habits. (Also https://lite.cnn.com/).

I still use it to see of my Internet connection still works. It's only 3 letters and likely won't be serving me cached content from my browser.

I forgot all about lite.cnn.com. Thanks for that reminder.
