I think you might be right. When it comes to fad and fashion, sometimes really weird stuff catches the public eye.

Thing is, I really wish there was a way to keep from getting buried in endless dreck.

Maybe it will end up just being genres... kind of like pop can be corporate and nobody really cared about the Milli Vanilli controversy because they liked the sound.
