Hey HN, what in your opinion is / are the most technically impressive video games or browser games of all time - and why??

Think along axis of: - graphics - performance - procedural generation - sound design - data structures - rendering techniques

For me it’s probably wolfenstein 3D, ultimate underworld, minecraft, dwarf fortress

Elite (1984) used procedural generation to create EIGHT entire galaxies, each with 256 star systems, on a floppy disk that was less than 48 kilobytes!
