I'm very familiar with political slogans always being largely bullshit, but the degree to which 'America First' or 'Make America Great Again' seem to be diametrically opposed to the real intentions is breathtaking.

And they know it too. After the (milquetoast) "uproar" over MAGA hats being "Made in China", they're now labeled as "Made in PRC". Witness those "comedy" videos interviewing people and asking them where PRC is and getting answers like "I think it's the abbreviation of a township in New Jersey" or "I have no idea".
