| Sure, they do. Then design your workflow in a way that tolerates an outage. What if electricity goes out? A lightning strike? It’s a no-brainier. Excel stores unsaved data in temp files on disk, just like your vim. Many Windows apps do because of the described behaviour. Use the right tool for the right job. |
