Thank you for your response, Tom. Here's something that really helps us at /r/politics: when a post/comment gets reported/removed, we guarantee that the user receives a private message explaining why. In this specific instance, it would have been helpful to: 1) Be told that the removal occurred. The only reason I discovered the post was "killed" was that it received zero votes. I'm sure you know that most Claude-related content garners a reaction. 2) Know what part of my submission caused the removal in the first place. For example, perhaps I used a word or phrase I could avoid in the future? I sincerely apologize for wasting your time and being disrespectful. I reacted poorly and agree that I could have shared my criticism in a less "in your face" manner. That said, I still contend that calling someone an a*hole is no worse than using the terms rapist, pedophile, or Nazi (which happens constantly on politically related HN posts). I don't see you getting into long discussions with those commenters. I'll send an email if needed, but I'd appreciate it if you would accept my apology and delete all the comments I made in this thread. I was wrong to make them. Period. | ||
