I reported this to HN a month ago:

BunnyCDN intentionally mis-writes any Mastodon request signing, as to make it incompatible with Mastodon.

And, they confirmed it's intentional.

Why is it intentional?

		That was what the link indicated. The user sent in a help ticket, and Bunny confirmed this response rewrite was intentional and would not fix it. I wanted to get this out, not to conjecture as to why.
