My main virtualization home lab / vNAS is 512 GiB (16x 32 GiB) DDR4 ECC 3200 I bought 5 years ago. I don't have any need to have or buy more. (Although I had to buy 1 stick last year after a craptastic, used, defective EPYC 7742 burned it out and I went back dual 7402's.) |

| Capitalism's version of rationing is a game only the rich can afford to play. When retail gamers accept manufactured and/or real scarcity competing with financialized irrational exuberance of billionaires sucking up DRAM and GPUs, it's best to wait on the sidelines. |
