It is especially intriguing that this is happening in the country where there is no way to physically control the population: there are no borders, it is in Schengen, everyone is free to come and go at will, and adjacent countries have free political expression and a wide range of dominating ideologies (or no dominating one, in case of Croatia). There is no way to have gulags or arbitrary executions or penal psychiatric hospitals. The entire dictatorship play happens purely in informational space. | ||||||||
