The only reason to push age verification is either to be able to advertise more and increase profits, or to normalize surveillance of citizens. All the gullible people backing this are enabling the worst of our society.

		Like what? Have the perpetrators in epstein files been brought to justice? THere are different ways to tackle: for example explicitly fining OpenAI, Google, Meta etc. and not individuals and people who need E2E encryption, free OS and free speeech.
