All true. It's about survival in small companies. You need to leverage every single efficiency advantage you can.

I think devs in big companies know big layoffs are coming because they can see how much more productive having a full Codex/CC setup is. They can do the work of a few devs just a year ago.

But I'm not convinced that "quality" decreases with AI. Quality can most definitely increase if you use AI properly, including leveraging AI for testing, finding bugs, etc.
