Alterdd | Lead Engineer (First Hire) | London/Cambridge, UK | Hybrid | £60k + Early-stage EMI Equity

Alterdd is building the fit intelligence layer for fashion. Currently, brands lack structured data on how their products actually fit real customers, making it a massively costly problem. We are fixing this by helping brands understand their fit so they can sell clothes that fit correctly the first time.

We are looking for our first technical hire to take full ownership of our engineering, moving our technology from prototype to production.

Why this role is interesting:

This is specifically designed as a bridge for a hungry Senior Engineer who is ready to step up into a Lead role. If you want the autonomy to build both the product and underlying systems from the ground up without waiting for direction, this is your shot to earn that Lead title. You will work directly with the founder with zero layers between idea and execution.

What you will do & stack:

- Design and build scalable systems across frontend, backend, and data layers. - Stack: Full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, Node, Python (or similar). - Data: PostgreSQL , building pipelines to ingest product feeds and fit data. - Integrations: Embedding our tech into e-commerce platforms like Shopify. You will need to design systems that handle highly inconsistent product and sizing data across different brands.

Working style & Interview: Hybrid working (2-3 days a week in person) in London or Cambridge. The interview process is fast and respects your time: one online technical interview, followed by one in-person interview with the founder.
