There is a lot of self congratulatory stuff in here that’s just blatantly false. Tech companies are there despite California politics, not because of it. The network effects of companies and talent and investors gives it a moat. Even that will erode over time.

But there’s nothing California does to help, given its history of heavy handed regulations like those signed here. It’s weird to see this page talk about protecting civil rights while imposing requirements that amount to controlling speech.
